These are the terms for using this site and, if you're crew, for holding a staff account on it. By using the site or signing in, you agree to them.

What this is

Phoenix Airlines is a fan-built virtual airline for use with Microsoft Flight Simulator. It is not a real airline, does not sell real tickets, and is not affiliated with Airbus, Fenix Simulations, iniBuilds, Volanta, or any real-world air carrier or aviation authority. Every flight logged here happens inside a flight simulator.

Accounts

Staff accounts are for people actively involved with the project. You're responsible for keeping your login, or linked Discord or Google account, secure, and for activity under your account. We can suspend or remove an account for abuse, impersonation, or violating the community rules in our Discord.

You can delete your own account from My Profile at any time. It is disabled immediately and permanently deleted after 14 days unless you sign back in and cancel it first. Root Admin and Super Admin accounts cannot be self-deleted.

Signing in with Discord or Google

Using either option means you're also bound by that provider's own terms of service. We only use the connection to identify you and, for Google, to match you to an existing staff account by email. We never post on your behalf or access anything beyond your basic profile information.

Content you submit

Bios, avatars, screenshots, and flight log entries you submit stay yours. Submitting them gives us permission to display them on the site for as long as your profile or entry stays up. Don't upload anything you don't have the rights to, and don't upload anything illegal, abusive, or impersonating someone else. We can remove content that breaks these rules.

Liveries and flight data

Liveries shared with the crew are provided as-is, for flight simulation use only. Flights logged on this site link out to a Volanta flight report as evidence of the flight; we don't independently verify flight data beyond that link.

No warranty

This site is provided as is, run by volunteers in their spare time. We don't guarantee it will always be available, bug-free, or error-free, and we aren't liable for anything that goes wrong from using it.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the project grows. Meaningful changes will show up here with a new last-updated date.
